GU Merch is a branch of Gangs Unite CIC; which aims to connect young people with the care and services they need right where they are, whilst raising awareness surrounding the dangers of knife/gun crime and the impact.

 

The journey started originally as a side hobby, only making a few boards and clothing for close friends and family. Later on, we eventually started to involve the youth that we had at the time; they were able to build boards from scratch and make t-shirts with their own designs and customisations. 

 

During this time, we were getting a lot of attention from the public and our community about our products, Ludi Boards in general, this later inspired us to upscale and start selling items rather than just it being an in house thing.

Ludi is a game of life where you go around the board as a team, a family. You get around the different obstacles and other hindrances, just like in real life, protecting your pieces and making it home. It's more than just a board game, its symbol and meaning is a lot deeper and is a very constructive way of teaching youth the importance of life and decisions you make on your journey.
